Richard Wayne Durrett

Richard Wayne Durrett passed away on Monday April 10, 2017. Service: 2:00 P.M. Saturday at White’s Azle Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1967. He was a member of First Christian Church in Minerals Wells. He spent his career traveling the United States as a truck driver. Richard was preceded in death by his dad, Hairl Dean Jones; and brother, Jewell Dean Chandler. Richard is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sue Ellen Durrett; daughter, Lisa Smith (James); sons, Richard Durrett (Amanda) and Michael Durrett (Adrienne); mom, Mary Sue Jones; sisters, Linda Dunn (Carl) and Sharon Harris (Billy); brother, Hairl Jones; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.
