Johnny Lane Welch, 79, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away Monday, April 17, 2017.
Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Azleland Memorial Park.
Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White’s Azle Funeral Home.
Johnny was born November 9, 1937 in Tyler to William and Virgie Welch. He was a hard worker, having worked for Robertson Fleet over 40 years. Johnny enjoyed woodworking, working with his hands, doing jigsaw puzzles, spending time at flea markets and going to Las Vegas with Karen.
He dearly loved his children and grandchildren and spending time on the lake fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; four sisters; and grandson, Kevin Hulsey.
Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Karen Welch; daughters, Elizabeth Hulsey and Carol Burleson; son, James Hulsey and wife, Janice; sisters, Agnes Williamson and Dorothy Starceb; grandsons, Johnny Cox, Dusty Huber and wife, Tereasa, Kyle Huber, Clint Hulsey, Daniel Hulsey; and seven great grandchildren.
