Jaunita was born March 23, 1924 in Nocona, Texas to Virgil and Annie Ruth Hammock. She had eight brothers and sisters. Jaunita enjoyed her plants and flowers, playing Bingo and in her younger days, traveling and camping with her children. She served countless hours and in multiple positions in the PTA of which she was a life-time member. She was involved in clubs that her children attended. Jaunita carried that service attitude later in life by volunteering and attending services at the Salvation Army. She loved life and we have all been blessed by her. We will miss her but rejoice in the fact she is with our heavenly Father for eternity.
Jaunita is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Morris E. Thomason, and children, Gwen Monticello, Virgil, Dorothy, Kenneth, and A.D. McGlumphy.
Survivors: Daughter, Arlene Clemones and husband, Charles of Azle; son, Morris Thomason Jr., and wife, Rose of Weatherford; daughter, Carol Alley and husband, Harvey of Florence, Colorado; plus numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
