Delmer Donivan Whorton

Delmer Donivan Whorton, 80, wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Azle. Service will be held at the Dallas Ft Worth National Cemetery at a later date. Delmer was born July 30, 1937 in Atoka, Oklahoma. He retired as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and at Azle ISD. Delmer was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Kay, and daughter, Pamela. Survivors include: Sons Robert Whorton and wife, Linda; Randall Whorton and wife, Gayla; grandchildren Shane Whorton and wife, Leah; Shannon (Whorton) Khan and husband, Finny; Jason Whorton and partner, Jessica Tarter; Anthony Whorton; Sarah Whorton; step-grandchildren, John Wilson and Megan Wilson; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Drew Whorton.
