Bishop Alan Wayne Crume, 65, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019. Graveside Service:  10 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2019 at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy., Weatherford  76088. Visitation:  6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 at White's Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells  76067. Alan was born to Dr. James Crume and Dolores Crume on July 27, 1954 in Los Angeles, California. Alan had a Doctorate Degree in Divinity from University of Christian Literature, Wolsey Hall, University of Oxford. He also had a Bachelor’s of Science from Northwest Christian College and numerous other degrees and certifications, especially in Computer Technology. He worked over 25 years for the Texas Christian University’s IT Department. He was also a Priest and Auxiliary Bishop with St. Augustine Catholic Church. He loved baseball, football, and technology, but most of all, Alan loved Jesus and he loved people. Alan and Susanne were also adoring fans of cats. Alan is survived by his wife, Susanne; his children, Nathaniel, Katherine, Abigail, and Rebekah; his parents, Dr. James Crume and Dolores Crume; his grandson, Kaeden Novikoff; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
