Alfie A. Clardy

Alfie A. Clardy, 47, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at his home in Mineral Wells. Visitation: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2023 at White’s Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at HighRidge Church, 1202 S. E. 6th Ave., Mineral Wells. Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery, 3600 S. Oak Ave., Mineral Wells. Alfie was born on March 16, 1976 in Lockney, son of Charles Raymond and Lillie Furn (Holman) Clardy. He met the love of his life, Christine Casillas, on March 14, 1993 and they would go on to spend 30 happy years together. Alfie was a Certified Professional CDL driver for over 15 years. Alfie was a very private person, but he cherished his “inner circle.” He loved to share stories about his childhood. He had a love for nature, and would sit outside for hours and listen to the birds. He would mimic their chirping and “talk to them.” In addition, he had an inherent love for music, especially blues. Alfie is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Raymond “Bubba” Clardy, Jr.; and sister, Felicia Clardy. Survivors include his loving wife, Christine Clardy; children, Desiree Casillas, Biren Clardy, and Dasia Clardy; sisters, Leslie Clardy, Lisa Clardy, LaTika Alvarado, and Allison Clardy; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
