Alice Yvonne “Von” Hale, born March 6, 1951, loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, in Weatherford, Texas, at the age of 70. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Lakeshore Baptist Church. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery, Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in White’s Chapel of Memories, Weatherford. Von was born in Haskell, Texas to Ira Jerrell LeFevre and Betty Murle Andress LeFevre on March 6, 1951. She attended school in Haskell, and attended college where she graduated Magna Cum Laude from McMurry University. Von became a teacher for the Hawley I.S.D. and went on to Fort Worth Independent School District, educating students for 30 years. She married John Wilbon Hale on July 12, 1997. Von attended Lakeshore Drive Baptist Church faithfully for many years. She was a longtime member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit #163; Lake Weatherford Community Association Secretary for 17 years; and a founding member and Activities Director of the Ladies of the Lake. She was preceded in death by her father, Ira Jerrell LeFevre; brother, Quincey LeFevre; and niece, Larissa Michelle Mosier. Von is survived by loving husband, John Hale of Weatherford; mother, Betty LeFevre of Haskell; sons, Clinton Dale Trussell of Denver, Colorado, and Jason Dean Trussell of Rosharon; a stepdaughter, Kristin Rene’ Paris; grandchildren, Isis Mei Trussell, Rachel Ann Paris, Kingston Alexander Trussell, and Zachary Thomas Paris; brothers, Jack LeFevre of Huntsville, and Vic LeFevre of Palacios; sister, Lisa Mosier of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many friends. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
