Pauline was born March 26, 1931 in Royston, TX to Edward J. and Alma Ruth Krueger Gruben. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and sewing. Anna was very active in her church activities. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Wharton; grandchildren, Kevin and Megan; and great grandson, Dylan. Survivors: Husband of 67 years, Arlie Wharton; children, David Wharton and wife, Susan, Kathy Wharton-Rosenberger, Paul Wharton and wife, Teresa; grandchildren, Wendy, Casey, Dedra, Bryan, Robert, Joey, and Kaylei; great-grandchildren, Keagan, Landon, Hailey, Trinity, Autumn, Jackson, Melaine, Ace, Ty, and Luke; brothers, Leon and Kenneth; and numerous nieces. nephews, and friends.
