Annie Lee Mullennix, 93, loving mother and grandmother passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020. Service: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at The First Baptist Church of Springtown. Interment: Azleland Cemetery, Reno 76020. Visitation: 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 5, 2020 until service time at First Baptist Church of Springtown. Annie was born January 6, 1927 in Graham to John Isaac and Etta Alice Townsend Guess. She was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church for several years and later attended the First Baptist Church of Springtown. Annie was also active in the Joy Singers and the Benevolence Committee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren Preston Mullennix; daughter, Melanie Mullennix; sisters, Jewel Griffin and Bernice Richardson; and brothers, Earl Guess and Herbert Guess. Survivors: Daughters, Jonetta Wright and husband, Martin, Shauna Smitt and husband, John; grandsons, Brent Creamer, Russell Creamer and Shaun Smitt; granddaughter, Aubyn Wood; and other loving family members and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Cheryl Thomas and Jo Caffey and the staff at Azle Manor for their loving care of Annie over the past few years.
