Arlin Wayne Ellis

Arlin Wayne Ellis passed away Friday, March 18, 2022. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at South Main Church of Christ, 201 South Main Street, Weatherford. Visitation: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2022 prior to the service at the church. Interment: Zion Hill Cemetery, Parker County. Wayne was born November 19, 1936 in Weatherford, son of John Lester and Novelene (Jackson) Ellis. He met the love of his life, Elna Diane Light and they were married on March 18, 1960. They would go on to spend 62 happy years together. Wayne spent his career working for General Dynamics, which would go on to become Lockheed Martin. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Buford Ellis; sisters, Linda Joy Ellis, and Janice Overton. Survivors include his wife, Diane Ellis; daughters, Arlynn Prachyl and husband, James, and Lori Berry and husband, James; grandchildren, Amber Berkley (Kevin), James Berry, Jr. (Vanessa), James Bryan Prachyl, Jr. (Stephanie), Jonathan Berry (Chery), Brandi Whymark (Todd); 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Ellis (Rolland); brother, Weldon Ellis (Vickye); and a host of other extended family members and friends.
