Betty Lou Sorensen

Betty Lou Sorensen was born on March 28, 1927 and died on February 29, 2020 one month before her 93rd birthday. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles who said, the first time he saw her, “I’m going to marry that girl.” Betty lived a quiet life and loved being with her family. She is survived by her children Karen Battle, Alan and Elsa Sorensen, Linda and Randy Massingill, and Charles Sorensen, Jr. She has six grandchildren – David, Evan, Orrin, Julie, Sarah, and Candis – and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Billie, James, Mary, and Raleigh and by many nieces and nephews. Graveside Inurnment: 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
