Betty Lee Turner

Betty Lee Richardson Turner, 87, went to heaven on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

Private Burial: Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells.

Betty was born March 22, 1937 in Brownwood, daughter of Herbert Edgar and Ima Lee (Elkins) Richardson. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree she became a teacher and touched many lives. She met and married the love of her life, Richard Lee Turner, and they spent many happy years together raising their family.

We are all so very excited that our Mom is dancing in heaven now! She is with her beloved husband and the whole Richardson clan. We can hear her Joy resounding from heaven!!

Betty is survived by three children, Norma Jean Vaughn and her husband, Todd, of Bells, Texas, Jeffrey Keith Turner, and James Glen Turner, of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Ricky Vaughn and his wife, Haixia, of Dallas, Seth Vaughn of the Sherman area, Betty Turner of Arlington, Jeffrey Turner and wife, Tracy, of Oklahoma, Shawnee Drennan and husband, Hank, of Possum Kingdom Lake, and Devan Turner of Roanoke; three great-grandchildren, Leoti Vaughn, Alec Turner, and Elijah Glynn Turner; and many extended family members, students, and dear friends.
