Brenda Joyce McNutt

Brenda Joyce McNutt, 73, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 801 Friendship Rd., Weatherford, TX 76085.Brenda was born May 6, 1944 in Fort Worth, daughter of Archie Franklin Latham and Mabel Brewer Latham.  Her family moved to the Weatherford area when she was three years old, and she continued to live here for the rest of her life.  Brenda graduated from high school and then pursued training to be an L. V. N.  She worked in several area nursing homes for 30 years, providing loving care for all of her patients.Brenda met the love of her life, Ronald McNutt, and they were married in Parker County on June 5, 1965.  They spent many wonderful years together raising their family. Brenda was a member of Friendship Baptist Church for 38 years.  She humbly served as a Deacon's wife and worked in the food bank at the church, feeding those in need and spreading the love of God.  Brenda will be deeply missed by all who knew her.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Weldon & Delbert Latham; sisters, Wanda Cleveland & Treva Wells; and beloved son, Ronald C. McNutt, Jr.Survivors:  Husband of 52 years, Ronald C. McNutt of Weatherford; son, Timothy Ryan McNutt of Weatherford; grandchildren, Jayce Anthony Nixon & Emma Grace McNutt; and many other family members, friends and church family.
