Bryan Seth Martinez, 24, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023 in Abilene. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2023 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 at Couts Memorial United Methodist Church, 802 North Elm St., Weatherford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made to Hendrick Hospice Center, 1651 Pine St., Abilene, 79601 Seth was born April 4, 1999 in Weatherford, son of Bryan Martinez and Amy Landis VanderWall. He loved anything with wheels, whether it was a bike, skateboard, heelies, etc. Seth began riding dirt bikes at a young age. If it had wheels, he mastered it quickly. He was the friend that everyone knew they could count on in hard times or just for a good laugh. Seth enjoyed gaming with his friends, gun collecting, wheelies, inside jokes, fishing, and listening to good music loudly in his truck. He's known for his beautiful curls, his belly laugh, and his quirky sense of humor. His siblings all knew he loved them by the way he picked on them. Seth played baseball and football from childhood through his early high school years. Seth was loved very much and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Bryan Martinez; grandmother, Mary Martinez; uncle, Alex Martinez; and cousin, T. J. Henne. Seth is survived by his mother, Amy VanderWall; stepfather, Jason VanderWall; sisters, Miranda Martinez, and Mallory Nesler; brother, Wyatt Nesler; step sisters, Jessica Martin, and Nickole Fruge’; step brother, Jacob VanderWall; grandfather, Ramon Martinez; grandparents, Gary and Marian Landis; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends.
