Carolyn Hamby Norman

Carolyn Hamby Norman, 81, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery, Millsap. Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Carolyn Hamby was born June 20, 1938, the first baby born in the new hospital on North Main St. in Weatherford. She was the daughter of Orman and Cleo Rowena Cockburn Hamby. Carolyn married J. C. Norman and they spent many wonderful years together and were blessed with their son, Jay. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister who died at birth. Survivors: Husband, J. C. Norman; son, Jay Norman; granddaughters, Jalyn Ziejewski and Jessica Norman; great-granddaughter, Raiya Ziejewski; and many other family members and friends.
