Carrol Gayland Sexton

Carrol Gayland Sexton, 88, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 in Willow Park. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2023 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Poe Prairie Cemetery in Millsap. Gayland was born April 28, 1935 in Hollis, Oklahoma, son of Robert Cecil and Gervaise (Hobbs) Sexton. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Gayland met the love of his life, Judy Oliver, and they were married on August 20, 1959 and they would go on to spend nearly 64 happy years together. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife, Judy Sexton; son, Tim Sexton and wife, Julie; one step-grandson; numerous sisters-in-law; and a host of extended family members and friends.
