Charles "Chuck" Lloyd Norton

Charles Lloyd “Chuck” Norton, 75, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019, peacefully at his home in Decatur, Texas 76234.Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 1295 Greenwood Road, Decatur.Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at Decatur Golf Club, 211 Country Club Road, Decatur.Chuck was born October 28, 1943 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, son of Lloyd Bruce and SE “Susie” Martin Norton. He met the love of his life, Carol Jean Colvin, and they married in Grand Prairie in 1965. Chuck and Carol spent many wonderful years together raising their four children. He owned and operated CN Services until he retired and handed off the family grave business to his children.Chuck will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and “Susie” Norton; and his son, Kyle Lloyd Norton.Survivors: Wife of more than 50 years, Carol Norton; children, Clint Norton and spouse, Ron, Amber Wood and husband, Tony, and Rusty Norton and wife, Shelby; grandchildren, Justin, Josh, Kyla, Toni, Kevin, Kacie, Kameryn, Madi, Abby, and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Grayson, Brantley, Briley, and Addyson; and many extended family members and friends.
