Charles Calvin Miller, 77, loving father and grandfather, passed away on Friday May 3rd, 2024, at a hospital in Fort Worth, with his family by his side.
Charles was born, raised and lived his entire life in the Ft Worth area. His favorite book was about the history of Ft Worth. He was a great story teller and most of his stories involved talking about the history of Ft Worth and how it evolved, and his life experiences growing up in his favorite city. Charles married the love of his life, Marsha Miller in 1965. They were blessed with one son, Wade Miller, who lovingly cared for Charles after Marsha passed away.
Charles owned a construction company dealing with asphalt and seal coating. During his younger years he was passionate about motorcycles, however hotrods brought him so much joy his entire life. He could spend hours tinkering around with cars and trucks with his son and grandsons. While he was working on them, he loved to listen to oldies and classic rock and roll on his juke box! He also was an avid lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan.
Over the years Charles has touched many lives. He never met a stranger, and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He will be missed by so many who loved him very much.
Charles was preceded in death by his father and mother Tommy and Nita Miller and his wife Marsha Miller.
He is survived by their son Wade Miller and wife Kay; grandsons Austin Miller and wife Tiffany, Ryan Miller and long time girlfriend Serry Holcomb and David Arenas and six great grandchildren; and his sister Elaine Browning.
