Charles Lee Stanton

Charles Lee Stanton, 70, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 in a Fort Worth hospital.Funeral Service:  1 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2017 in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086.Interment:  Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Hwy., Weatherford, 76088.Visitation:  3 - 5 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home.Charles was born December 25, 1946, a wonderful Christmas gift, in Graham, son of  Richard Charles and Beatrice Blair Stanton.  He met the love of his life, Sandra Calhoun and they married June 5th, almost 53 years ago.  They spent many happy years together raising their daughters.  Charles worked as a Superintendent in the high line construction industry.  He was a faithful member of Brock Baptist Church.Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Stanton; sister, Connie Reddell; and granddaughter, Kayla Brooks.Survivors :  Wife of 52 years, Sandra Stanton; daughters, Stacey Hardin and husband, Randy, Dana Brooks and husband, Clifford, and Teresa White and husband, Jody; sister, Bonnie Martin;  brother-in-law, Barry Fletcher; grandchildren, Ryan Hardin, Mica Hardin, Chandra Kovar, Rachel Hardin, and Cheyenne White; great-grandchildren, Jayda Kovar and Ana Hardin; and many other loving family members and friends.Services are in care of White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
