Claude Reynolds Conwell

Claude R. Conwell, 77, of Azle, died Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Kindred Hospital, Arlington. Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2020 at Ash Creek Baptist Church, Azle. Burial: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, at White’s Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please donate to Azle Masonic Lodge. Claude was born in Azle on October 30, 1943. He graduated from Azle High School in 1962 and earned his BS in Industrial Engineering from UTA in 1968. Claude retired after a Civil Service career with the Department of Defense. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Conwell and his mother, Martha Conwell, of Azle; sisters, Celia Pyle, of Carthage, TX and Helen Short, of Azle. He is survived by wife, Susan Conwell, of Azle; sons, Jimmy Conwell and wife, of Granbury, and Charles Conwell and fiance’, of Azle; grandchildren, Chloe Rowitz and husband, of Angel’s Camp, CA, Garrett Crae Conwell, of Azle, and Katy Conwell, of Azle; and sister, Nancy Davis, of Azle; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
