Cleatus Ray Wright

Cleatus Ray Wright, 85, of Weatherford, TX, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018.Funeral: 10 AM, Saturday, February 10, 2018 in White’s Chapel of Memories. Visitation: 6 to 8 PM, Friday at White’s Funeral Home.Cleatus was born July 15, 1932 in Willow, OK to Ruby and Hallie Wright. He was a Private First Class and served in the Army from 1953 to 1955, after which time he remained in Reserves until 1961. He married Lillie Rose, the love of his life, in 1956, in Mangum, OK, and they were married for 52 years. Cleatus was a Gas Well Pumper from 1960 to 1994 and also in 1983 he began custom baling hay. He was a member of the Sheriff's Posse from 1985. His passions included fishing, dominos, dancing, Ranger games, RV’ing, farming and helping others. Survivors: Daughter, Lisa King and Vincent Bennici; son, Greg Wright and wife, Patti; granddaughters, (Grandsons in Cleatus' Eyes) Maigan Anderson, Whitney McIntosh and husband, John, Madison Ashkinos and husband, Corey, and Haley Wright; great-grandchildren, Nickolas, Avery, and Kyler; and sister, Barbara.
