Cloys Lee Pierce

Cloys Lee Pierce was surrounded by his loving wife, Syble; son, Bill Pierce; daughter, Debbie Guthrie and husband, Roy; when he passed away peacefully of Blood Cancer on Friday, September 25, 2020. He was 86. Those who knew Cloys would say he loved the Lord and was a kind and gentle man. He was born August 10, 1934, in Mabank, Texas. He was an ironworker, ironworker/glass consultant and his treasured profession was being a Minister. In 1955, Cloys met the love of his life, Syble. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary August 19, 2020. Cloys had a full and absolutely wonderful life. He leaves his wife, Syble Pierce; son, Bill Pierce and wife, Tammy; daughter, Debbie Guthrie and husband, Roy; grandchildren, Ashely Chisolm and husband, Cameron, Phillip Guthrie, Rachel Maynard and husband, DJ, Montana Womble and husband, Ryan, and Jordan Pierce; great-grandchildren include Levi Womble, Colin Chisolm, Jacob Chisolm, Evan Chisolm, Paisley Pierce Chisolm and Margaret Maynard. Cloys was preceded by his mother, Arizona Pierce; and father, Jackson Pierce; along with three brothers and one sister. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue Weatherford, Texas 76086.
