Dale Frank Kesteloot passed away peacefully at his home in Weatherford, Texas with his loving wife by his side on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
Memorial Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity or the American Cancer Society in Dale's name.
Dale was born October 1, 1953 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Dorothy and Frank Kesteloot. Born and raised in Michigan, Dale graduated from L'anse Creuse High School where he played on the football and lacrosse teams. Following high school graduation, he enlisted in the Army. Upon his return home, he lived with his family in Berville, MI where he worked in the family bar and restaurant business, The Berville Hotel.
Dale met his wife, Susan on a blind date, and they were married on September 11, 1981. The following week they moved to Phoenix, Arizona where they raised their three children, Jacob, Erin, and Joseph, and resided there for 24 years.
Dale worked in property management with the Rouse Co. as Chief Engineer and Facilities Manager at the Arizona Center in Phoenix. In 2005 he was recruited for a position in Fort Worth, Texas by the Bass Company. He was hired as Director of Operations for Sundance Square and later City Center Fort Worth. He worked there for 19 years, up until the time of his death. He was extremely hard-working, well-respected, and known and loved by many.
He was a fiercely dedicated family man who enjoyed hosting and entertaining. An avid outdoorsman, Dale enjoyed hunting and fishing trips. He was a die-hard University of Michigan fan. He was also very good at running craps tables on many occasions.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his father-in-law, Henry M. Obrecht.
Dale is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan; son, Jake (Jessica) of Weatherford; daughter, Erin of Weatherford; and son, Joseph of Arizona; granddaughters, Lily, Ava, and Emma; sisters, Marie Laudon of Arizona, and Linda Roose of Michigan; mother-in-law, Eugenia Obrecht of Michigan, and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and cousins.
