David Wayne McClure

With a heavy and shocked heart, we regret to inform you David McClure passed away in his home on Monday, November 21, 2022. Service: 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 28, 2022 at White's Azle Chapel. Visitation: 12:00 P.M. (noon) to 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 28, 2022 at White's Azle Chapel. David was an E-5 Navy Vietnam Veteran serving 8 years. After his service, he worked in corporate security for 43 years and retired in 2021. He served on the Azle City Council for 11 years and as Mayor Pro Tem for a year. He enjoyed his life traveling with his wife, Marilyn. When he was at home, he kept busy by working around the house, yard and cars. He constantly found a new project to upgrade at home but was always quick to lend a hand for anyone who needed it. He is survived by wife, Marilyn; son, Jonathan and wife, Laura and their 2 sons, Ethan and Ryan; son, Jeffrey; and step-daughter, Jennifer and grandson, Dayton Hedgpeth. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul McClure; mother, Janette and granddaughter, Capriella Hedgpeth. With all of our love and blessings, Dave has moved on to his next life…
