David Morgan Meyers

David Morgan Meyers ,80, of Fort Worth passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, with his family by his side.

Graveside Service: 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 3, 2025, at Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle, 76020.

David was born in Hobbs, New Mexico to Lester and Mildred Meyers March 22, 1944. He attended school in Odessa, graduating from Odessa High School in 1962. He married Jacqueline Ann Darby on August 2, 1963, at the First Baptist Church in Odessa. David graduated from Texas Technological College in Lubbock in 1968 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He adored his son, Dean and daughter-in-law, Debbie and his grandchildren, Olivia Presley and Blake Austin Meyers.

David loved hunting Deer, Elk and Buffalo, playing sports and playing on the church Baseball Team. He also enjoyed reading and cooking out.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sandra Jo Justice.

David is survived by his wife, Jackie Meyers; son, Brian Dean Meyers and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Olivia and Blake Meyers; sister, Sharon Lynn Reed and husband, Monte; also numerous nieces and nephews.
