Donald Scott “Scotty” Teague, 81, beloved husband, father, and “Pappy,” passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at his home in Mineral Wells. Visitation: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022 at White’s Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Graveside Service: 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Barton Chapel Cemetery in Jacksboro. Scotty was born December 2, 1940 in Jacksboro, son of Leon and Margie Ward Teague. He worked for many years as a Law Enforcement Officer for Fort Worth Police Department and the Parker County Sheriff’s Office. He was a truck driver for several years and retired after working as a driving instructor at Weatherford College. Scotty was a true cowboy at heart who loved his family deeply. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Gail Green; and nephew, Thomas Scott Green. He is survived by his wife, Billie; daughter, Tina Haynie and husband, Ray; granddaughter, Shana Davis; great-grandchildren, Kenzie Davis, Konnor Nickerson, and Iman Nickerson; and his mother, Jessica Nickerson; and a host of other extended family members and friends. Pallbearers: Bubba Swearingen, Ray Haynie, Sam Gafford, Alan Richardson, Wayne Hayes, Dwayne Jacobson.
