Dora F. Lockhart

Dora F. Lockhart, 96, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many, entered the gates of heaven Tuesday, November 26, 2019. Funeral Service:  1 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2019 in the North Side Baptist Church Chapel, 910 N. Main St., Weatherford  76086. Interment:  East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation:  11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at North Side Baptist Church. Memorials:  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dora’s memory to North Side Baptist Church. Dora was born December 19, 1922 in Knox City, daughter of Andrew Alexander and Dora Sweatt Nicholson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Dora Nicholson; husband, J. C. Lockhart; brothers, T. C. Nicholson, Edward Nicholson, and Kenna Nicholson; and sister, Elizabeth Bird. Survivors:  Children, Jesse A. Lockhart and wife, Margaret, Helen Auschwitz and husband, Charles, and Donnie Lockhart and wife, Colette; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
