Doris was born December 14, 1936 in Springtown; Daughter of Doug Phillips and Mozelle (Oxford) Phillips.
Doris was a strong woman of faith who had an inherent love for music. She was very active in the music departments of her churches throughout her lifetime. She loved to play the piano and sing.
She worked for many years for Mid-Continent oil company in Fort Worth. Then when the time came, she retired early to help take care of her grandchildren.
Next to her Savior, her first love was her family. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gary Rose; second husband, Jim Jennings.
Survivors include her sons, Scott Rose (Debra), and Keith Rose; grandchildren, Aaron Rose (Amanda), Whitney Rose, Brock Rose (Tamar), and Bryce Rose (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Hunter Ooten, Boston Ooten, Gradie Rose, Cole Harris, Rebekah Rose, Camila Rose, Conner Rose, and Justin Rose; brother, Jim Phillips (Teresa); and a host of extended family members and friends.
