Doris Jean Taylor, 74, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her home. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2020 at Community Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. Pallbearers for the service will be Ronald Lynn Jackson, Jr., Mark Wright, Dwayne Winton, Jacky Wright, James Ware, Steven Wright, Kenneth Cates, and Charlie Caldwell; with Pastor Rod Drake officiating. Doris was born December 19, 1945 in Fort Worth, daughter of Raymond M. Chamberlain and Dorothy F. King Chamberlain. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Chamberlain; mother, Dorothy King Chamberlain; brothers, Raymond Burl Chamberlain and Billy Ray Chamberlain; and sister, Stacy Chamberlain. Survivors: Children, Marsha Cates and husband, Kenneth, Jacky Wright and wife, Kelly, Steven Wright, Raylene Kennard, and James Ware; 16 grandkids; 33 great-grandkids; siblings, Maxine Wright, Randy Chamberlain, Kevin Chamberlain, and Genna Williams; and many extended family members and friends.
