Dylan Wayne Mitchell

Dylan Wayne Mitchell, 27,  went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2018.Service:  2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Harmony Baptist Church, 242 Harmony Road, Weatherford.  Burial:  Tin Top Cemetery.Dylan was born in Weatherford on August 17, 1990 to Vernon and Desiray Mitchell.He went through the Weatherford schools and graduated in 2009 from Crosstimbers Academy where he became a published poet.Dylan loved to fish, hunt and collect old books, but his biggest love was music. He wrote and performed as a member of the group MuddieWater. He helped to grow the True Hip Hop webpage to being an awesome international community. Dylan loved all music though. He could be heard singing Johnny Cash to Eminem.His greatest accomplishment was being a Daddy to his daughter Kynlan. They shared a very special bond. Dylan loved his family and friends. He would do anything to help anyone.  He has given me a new song to sing, Psalm 40:3Preceded by grandparents: Herb and Marion Mitchell, Weatherford; Donald Fanning, Crosstimbers, MOSurvived by: Daughter, Kynlan Mitchell of Mineral Wells; parents, Vernon and Desiray Mitchell of Weatherford; sister, Cheyenne Mitchell (Clayton Parrish) of Weatherford; brother, Austin Mitchell (Bailey) of Cresson; grandmother, Toni Fanning of Crosstimbers, MO;  girlfriend, Amber Gutierrez of Weatherford; nephew, Levi; niece, Raylee; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
