Edith “Naomi” Stutts, 81, of Bossier City, La., entered into rest at 2:45 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2017, at her residence surrounded by family. Graveside service and burial were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Woodland Park Cemetery, Mineral Wells. Robert Sheffield officiated. Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at White’s Funeral Home, Mineral Wells. Naomi was born May 5, 1935 in Mineral Wells to Thomas and Allie Belle Spradlin O’Bannon. She married James Stutts on May 4, 1956. Naomi was a long-time resident of Bossier City where she lived since leaving her childhood home in Mineral Wells during 1978. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School. Naomi spent most of her life as a housewife and homemaker. She loved caring for her family and making everyone first on her priority list. Naomi loved crossword puzzles, nature and watching the birds, rabbits and squirrels playing and feeding in her backyard. Her mother and father, along with her sister, Juanita Colwell and her husband, Archie Colwell, preceded her in death. Survivors are her husband, James Stutts; one son, Randy Lee Stutts, of Bossier City; two grandsons, Lee Stutts of Bossier City, and Aaron Stutts of Jakarta, Indonesia; two granddaughters, Natalie Stutts and Humaira of Jakarta, Indonesia; one niece, Nancy Strain and her husband, Jerry, of Mineral Wells; one nephew, Tony Colwell of Mineral Wells; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
