Edward "Eddy" Raymond Jantzen, beloved and loving husband, Dad and “Gramps”, stepped into his heavenly home on March 28, 2025, at the age of 77.

Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Legacy Church in Springtown, TX.
Ed was born in Enid, OK to Edward and Edna (Summers) Jantzen on June 26, 1947. He spent most of his school years in Tucumcari, N.M. After returning from the military, he worked in Houston for awhile and then returned to New Mexico to work for the electric power company in Albuquerque as a residential energy consultant. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to create and run several different businesses during the years before retirement.
Following his twenty-fifth high school reunion, he managed to reconnect with his high school sweetheart, Colleen Copeland, and moved to Texas to pursue that relationship. After the 26 year gap, they married. On Valentine's Day 2025, they celebrated their 33rd anniversary. Ed's longtime love of classic cars led them to enjoy the hobby together and develop wonderful friendships.
Ed loved Jesus and wanted others to know Him. He served and worshipped with many loving friends and pastors at Legacy Church in Springtown.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Edna Jantzen; brother, Larry Jantzen and nephew, Chance Jantzen.
He is survived by his wife Colleen; son Trey Maxwell and wife Sherry; grandson Kaden Maxwell and granddaughter Brielle Maxwell.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Samaritan's Purse or Wounded Warriors will be appreciated.
