Ella Jean Benton, 69, passed away July 3, 2020, in Granbury, Texas. Services: Visitation, Tuesday, July 7, 2020, 6-8:00 PM at Whites Chapel of Memories , Weatherford, Texas Graveside Service, Wednesday, July 8, 2020, 10:00 AM, East Greenwood Cemetery. Jean was born October 16, 1950, in Anderson, IN. to Leslie E. Downey and Elsie Mitchell Downey. Ella dearly loved her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerry Benton; and her daughter, Renee Cooper. She is survived by her children, Nathaniel Bryant, of Millsap, Terri Benton, of Millsap, and Tony Benton, of Granbury; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 sisters; and 1 brother. Jean had a zest for life, and will be missed by all who knew her.
