He was born September 5, 1923, to Ernest and Irene Reeves in Odell, Texas. Funeral Service: Friday, December 21, 2018, First Baptist Church – Springtown, Texas Visitation: Thursday, December 20, 2018, White’s Funeral Chapel – Springtown, Texas Lee (Doad) was a WWII Air Force Veteran of the 487th bomb group of the 8th Air Force. He flew 33 missions over Germany. Upon coming home, he met and built a wonderful life with Norma Gage. They were married 71 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Norma Gibson; siblings Bill Gibson and Mildred Hudson; sons David and Dale Gibson; grandsons Wayne and Thomas Gibson, granddaughter Darcy Gibson and great-grandchildren Jack Lee and Raelynn Gibson; as well as many extended family members and friends that he loved dearly. A respected member of the community, Lee held many titles; Staff Sergeant, Engineer, Deacon, Coach, Cattleman, Entrepreneur, to name a few. The titles he held dearest were first as a Child of God, follower of Jesus Christ, dedicated husband-father-grandfather, loving relative and devoted friend.
