Ernst Ludwig Duenzl, 92, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, August 24, 2017. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, 76086.Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas, 75211.Memorials: The family welcomes memorials made in Ernie's honor to Smile Train.Ernie was born March 16, 1925 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, son of Ludwig and Hedwig Bach Duenzl. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Navy as an Enlisted Pilot during WWII. Following the war, he relocated to Texas where he founded his business, Tekni-Kut. After his retirement in 1994, he and Sandra moved to Weatherford, spending many years enjoying flying and his wonderful family and friends.Ernie was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved wife, Sandra.Survivors: Daughters, Tzila Duenzl, Mary Duenzl, and Elizabeth Chamberlain and husband, John; son, James Duenzl and wife, Laura; grandsons, Tobias Duenzl and Augustine Chamberlain; granddaughter, Lillian Chamberlain; great-grandson, Aaron Biggs; and many dear friends.
