Essie Ruth Williamson

Essie Ruth Williamson, 83, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018. Service: 2 p.m. Monday at Cornerstone Community Church, 2233 TX-199, Springtown, 76082. A visitation will be held one hour prior. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any animal rescue organization of your choice. Essie was born September 13, 1934 in Amity, Arkansas to Noah and Gracie Knighten. She married the love of her life, Willie Williamson and together they raised a family. She worked at Levels Food Center in Springtown for a few years. After she retired from working, she took care of her grandchildren. She was a very kind woman and will be greatly missed. Essie was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Gracie Knighten; husband, Willie Williamson; and daughter, Kay Hughes.
