Esther Pauline Layne

Pauline Layne, 92, passed away in Corsicana, Texas, May 7, 2019.  She was born January 31, 1927, to Harrison Willis Montgomery and Loney Maud Platt Montgomery in Winkler, Texas. Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, May 9 , 2019, Cornerstone Community Church, Springtown, Texas Visitation:     May 9, 2019, 12-2:00 PM, Cornerstone Community Church, Springtown, Texas Interment:  Springtown Cemetery Pauline moved to Springtown in 1936 and graduated from Springtown High School in 1945.  She was a longtime member of Cornerstone Community Church.  She was a self-employed cosmetologist for 22 years in Springtown. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Edward Layne; brothers, Vivian H. Montgomery and Joel E. Montgomery and sister, Brenda McGee. Survivors include her son, Dan Layne (Glenda); daughter, Paula Martin (Joe); and brother, Carrol Montgomery (Sue); 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
