Galen Grae Templeton

Galen Grae Templeton Graveside services for Galen Grae Templeton are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Amherst, Texas.  A gathering for fellowship will be held beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Dining Hall in Amherst followed by the graveside service. Galen died on January 31, 2020 in Weatherford, Texas.  Galen was 66 years old and resided near Earth, Texas.  He was born on March 21, 1953 in Amherst, Texas, the son of Paul Grae and Joyce Ivalene Templeton.  Galen worked for Wilber Ellis Company as a truck driver and retired in 2019.  Galen enjoyed bird hunting, fishing, camping, firearm restoration, and was an NRA Life Member. Galen is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Templeton; his father, Paul Grae Templeton; and a brother, Terry Wayne Templeton. Galen is survived by his mother, Joyce Ivalene Malone of Weatherford; his sister, Pauletta Meek and husband, Fred, of Fort Worth; his brother, Gary Michael Templeton and wife, Denise, of Weatherford.
