Genevieve "Ginny" Laverne Phillips

Genevieve Phillips was born on November 4, 1966, in Ada, Oklahoma to Richard Edmond and Marlene (Bowen) Myers. She went home to the Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2023 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, Texas 76086. She was the most amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt that anyone could ask for. She cared more about others than herself. Ginny loved all her children both officially and unofficially. Her hobbies were playing World of Warcraft. Playing with her grandkids and tending to her rose plants, or racing people in her Camaro. Her husband of 34 years met her in their early 20’s and never looked back. She always knew how to cheer someone up with her raw sense of humor and goofy antics. She will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by Richard Myers, Marlene Myers, Aron Myers, Justin Myers and Laverne Floyd. She is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 34 years, Jeff Philips; children, Jeremey Myers-Reyes, Tina Myers-Reyes, Shea Myers, and Jennifer Myers; brothers, Ricky Myers, Carol Myers, Johnny Myers, and Sharon Myers; grandchildren, Trinity Myers, Gauge Reyes, Jillian Reyes, Jaden Reyes, Jacoby Reyes, Faith Kolreg, Jackie Dooley, and Hunter Dooley; nephews and nieces, Cody Myers, Breanna Myers, Riley Myers, Savannah Myers and Heather Myers; and five great-grandchildren that she was very proud of.
