George Haviland Hanauer

George Haviland Hanauer, 97, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 21, 2017.Graveside Inurnment: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 5600 Mineral Wells Highway, Weatherford, 76088.George was born December 14, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York. He attended TCU, majoring in Industrial Management, and proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. His career was in AeroSpace, where he retired as company president in Van Nuys, California. He and his wife, Dolores, who preceded him in death in 2002, settled in Weatherford in 1982. They were active members of Grace First Presbyterian Church. He moved to Fort Worth in 2002. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.Survivors: daughter, Barbara Hanauer; step-sons, Craig Krause and Lance Krause and wife, Debbie; granddaughters, Rebecca Krause and Amber Giere and husband, Josh; grandson, Chase Krause and wife, Allison; six great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.Services are in care of White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
