Hanna E. Nickell beloved wife and mother moved on to be with our Heavenly Father Thursday, August 31, 2023. Memorial Visitation will be held at White’s Funeral Home on Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 6 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate any contributions to offset the costs of medical bills. Hanna Elizabeth Nickell was born December 5, 1979 at home in Fort Worth to Judy Calkins and Jim Calkins. Hanna enjoyed spending time with family. She was an animal lover and had lots of chickens, geese and ducks. Her favorite hobbies were gardening and crocheting hats and purses for loved ones. Hanna was very strong in her faith and spent lots of time reading her Bible. She enjoyed listening to religious songs on the radio. A note from the family: We are left with so many wonderful memories. Hanna may you fly high among the angels. No more pain, no more doctor visits, and no more poking and prodding visits. Just absolute freedom and Heaven. You are loved and will be missed. Hanna was surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Breast Cancer. Survivors: Husband of 14 years, Brian; daughter, Brianna Nickell; parents, Judy and Jim Calkins; siblings, Sarah Camp Calkins and Jerome Calkins; and several nieces and nephews.
