Hazel Irene Coalson

November 11, 1918 — February 9, 2020

Hazel Dalton Coalson went home to meet her Lord Jesus on Sunday, February 9, 2020. Funeral Service:  11 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 6657 FM 113 North, Weatherford. Interment:  Bethesda Cemetery, Garner. Visitation:  10 – 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Hazel was born in Authon, Parker County in November 1918, the youngest of nine children born to Bob and Mary Bailey Dalton.  She has been a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church since 1937, when she married Marshall Coalson, of that community.  Hazel has been very active in her church, teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir.  She was also active in the Millsap Eastern Star and was a leader in the Garner 4-H Club. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall; her parents; her eight siblings; and three grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, Russell Coalson and wife, Janet, Linda Coalson Young and husband, Dave, and Nelda Coalson Colley and husband, Les; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many extended family members, friends and church family.
