Helen O. Williams

Helen O. Spurger Williams, 94, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at home with her loved ones. Graveside Service:  Private Visitation:  6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020 at White’s Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Helen was born August 26, 1925 in San Angelo, TX, daughter of Thomas & Nona Watson Spurger.  She met the love of her life, O. B. Williams and they married February 8, 1953 in San Angelo.  They spent 52 wonderful years together raising their children on their farm in Millsap until O. B. passed in 2005. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, O. B.; and son, Butch Williams; sisters, Lullia Ruffle, Marion Chapman and Sadie Gafford, Survivors:  Children, Dennis Williams and wife, Shelia, Wesley Williams and wife, Debbie, Sharon Williams and Donna Heyworth; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom Spurger and Richard Spurger; sister, Pat Hoelscher; and host of extended family members and friends.
