Hope Z. Valtierra

Hope Zepeda Valtierra, 87, beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Memorial Mass: 11 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2022, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road, Weatherford 76086. Visitation and Rosary: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2022 at White’s Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford, with Rosary at 7 p.m. Private Family Graveside Inurnment: Millsap Cemetery. Hope was born March 5, 1935 in Brazos, daughter of Manuel and Petra Zepeda. She was a faithful member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Hope loved her family very much. In her later years she raised her grandson, Gregory Valtierra. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Valtierra; daughter, Maria Bradfield; sons, Gregory Valtierra, and Valentino Valtierra; sister, Mary Cano; brothers, Manuel Zepeda, Joe Zepeda, John Zepeda, Martin Zepeda and Lupe Zepeda. Survivors: children, Linda Clark, Vincent Valtierra, and Catalina Zander; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Charlie Zepeda; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
