James Robert Crowe

James Robert Crowe, 60, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at his home.Funeral Service:  10 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at North Oak Church of Christ, 901 North Oak Ave., Mineral Wells, 76067.Interment:  Oran Cemetery, Oran.Visitation:  6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White’s Funeral Home, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells.James was born May 9, 1958 in Mineral Wells, son of James E. and Mildred Dalton Crowe.  He was a graduate of Mineral Wells High School.  James worked for 36 years at Cantex, where he became Plant Manager.  At one time, he traveled across the country training other Cantex Plants.  James later worked for Heritage Plastics, and finally at JAMAK.He was active in a local theater group for many years, providing lighting and technical work for many productions.  James coached Little League baseball when his children were young.  He was an excellent woodworker and that was his favorite pastime, but he also loved working on anything mechanical.  His greatest joy was in spending time with his family.James was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Moll.Survivors:  Wife, Amy Crowe; parents, Mildred and James E. Crowe; sons, Robert Crowe and wife, Melissa, and Steven Crowe and wife, Elizabeth; sister, Linda Sparks; grandchildren, Trystin Watts, Dylon Crowe, Aiden Crowe, and Ollie James Crowe; and many nieces and nephews.
