Jeanette Corley Waters

Jeanette Corley Waters, 74, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 16, 2020. No service is planned at this time. Jeanette was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on August 26, 1946 to Louie J. and Margaret Corley. She moved to Texas in 1974 where she raised three children. Jeanette earned her Bachelor's degree in education from Tarleton State in 1987. She combined her passion for education and her love for children as a First Grade Teacher with Peaster ISD for many years. After touching the lives of so many children she retired in 2006 and settled in Millsap, where she enjoyed spending time with her family. Jeanette was preceded in death by her father, Louie J. Corley; mother, Margaret Corley; sisters, Joyce Corley and Janelle Corley; and daughter, Shelley Waters. Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Diane Holder; son, Stephen Waters and wife, Lenna Waters; grandchildren, James Holder and Grace Holder; and great-granddaughter, Paisley Shutz.
