Jenny Kingsbury McClure, 71, of Graford, died Sunday, April 24, 2022, in Fort Worth. Jenny was born on April 3, 1951, in Breckenridge, Texas to the late Ural and Deane Henington Kingsbury. She married Russell Cooper McClure on July 31, 1976, in Mineral Wells, Texas. Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Southside Church of Christ, 1401 S. E. 25th Ave., Mineral Wells. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She always put her family’s needs above her own. She had a strong love and knowledge of God and instilled that in her family. Jenny and Russell were currently members of South Main Church of Christ in Weatherford, TX. Jenny was an elementary teacher at Mineral Wells I.S.D and Graford I.S.D. She held many hats throughout her teaching career including several grade levels, the title one coordinator, and managed the Accelerated Reading Program. She also assisted with U.I.L., PTO, cheer sponsor, and was a long-time bookkeeper for the Jackrabbits basketball teams. She retired after 34 years. After retirement, she became a member and even served as President of the Palo Pinto County Texas Retired Teachers Association. Jenny was also a sports enthusiast. She loved watching her kids and grandkids play sports, but also loved watching it on TV. She was a diehard Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Texas Longhorn fan. Jenny is survived by her husband, Russell of 45 years, son Kent, of Lipan; daughters Keleen, of Kingsville; and Kensey and husband Tyler of San Antonio; 3 grandsons, Keaston and Kayden McClure and Brixton Gamboa; Brother Jim Kingsbury and wife Marleen of Dallas, TX; Sister, Lynda Wages, of Tuttle, Oklahoma; Brother-in-law, Don McClure and wife Shirley of Graford; Sister-in-Law Martha McAvoy and husband Bobby of Jacksboro and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild.
