Joan M. Kaiser Schmitter, 75, an Azle ISD retired teacher, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 at a local hospital. Graveside: 10:00 am Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Joan was born January 30, 1945 in Muenster to C.J. and Teresa Kaiser. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart School of Muenster and North Texas State University. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Melvin. Survivors: beloved canine, Sammy, and a host of friends.
