Joan Christine Sisk, 84, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother and friend, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at home with her family. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at The Church At Azle, 1801 S. Stewart St., Azle 76020 Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery, 300 S. Stewart St., Azle. Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at White’s Funeral Home, 105 Denver Tr., Azle. Joan was born May 13, 1935 in Gainesville, daughter of William A. and Bertha Stewart Tutt. She married Ed Sisk and they spent many happy years together until his passing. Joan spent her life as a caregiver, both with her family and outside her home as well. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. Joan had a zest for life, and she loved to sing. She was a regular at the Azle Opry. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ed Sisk; grandsons, Christopher Tidwell and Bobby Tidwell; two brothers; and one sister. Survivors: Sons, Ricky Tidwell and wife, LaDonna, Mike Tidwell and wife, Gwen, Bobby Tidwell, Scott Tidwell, and David Duvall; daughters, Diane Miller and husband, Donald, and Jody Rexroat; daughters-in-law, Heidi Harriman, and Nancy Russell; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; brother, Bobby Tutt; and many extended family members and friends.
