  JoAnn Freeman passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle, 76020. Interment: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Lung Association. JoAnn was born in Montague County to Elmer and Margaret Carr. She was the first secretary and treasurer of American Motors and worked there for 10 years. She then gave over 30 years of dedicated service to Jerry Durant Auto Group. She was a hard worker, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Carr and Margaret Carr Wright; and step-father, Frank Wright. Survivors: son, Phillip Freeman and fiancee, Michele; grandchildren, Justin Freeman and wife, Kindall, Ryan Freeman, and Taylor Rager and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Colton, Weston, and Hadleigh; siblings, Dorothy Cherryhomes and husband, Paul, and Elaine DeMichilli; numerous nieces, nephews, and a loving extended family from Jerry's.   White's Azle funeral Home105 Denver TrailAzle, TX 76020817-444-3211
